On February 9, 2016, the American Pastors Network held a conference call with pastors to discuss the inroads of Islam in our local schools, churches, and communities. Joining the call were guest speakers:
- Tom Wallace, Founder and Host of Fortress of Faith Ministries and Radio Program
- Evangelist Dave Kistler, President of the North Carolina Pastors Network and H.O.P.E. Ministries International
- Rev. Dale Walker, Pastor and President of the Tennessee Pastors Network
- Usama Dakdok, Founder of Straight Way of Grace Ministry which teaches the truth on Islam and Christianity
- Rev. Todd Johnson, Pastor and Member of Leadership Council with the Pennsylvania Pastors Network
Some of the questions discussed were:
- Is there any such thing as a ‘moderate Muslim’?
- Why is it so critical that this current ‘Chrislam’ mentality of saying that we all worship the same God is so dangerous – politically – as well as, of course, to the preaching of the Gospel?
- How should the Church balance the literal increasing physical war that is ensuing against Christianity with loving our Muslim neighbor next door’?
It would be great if a few of the apologetic majors would hold a conference with the pastors on how to rationally debate with Muslims. Using their arguments against them. There are some good books out there that lovingly point out the differences between Islam and Christianity and how the Muslims are being deceived by Allah. One is put out by the African Life Crusade (I think that is the name of the organization), the author has dealt with Muslims on a daily basis. Well standing strong in Christian doctrine, the book explains many Muslim beliefs and how they are mislead and do not understand Christian doctrines.
