Impressive Lineup of National Speakers Set for Pennsylvania Pastors Network’s ‘U-Turn’ Conference on March 19 in Lancaster, PA

The Pennsylvania Pastors Network (PPN, www.papastors.netwill welcome an impressive lineup of speakers to its upcoming conference for pastors, church leaders and laypeople on March 19.

The powerful “U-Turn” conference, set for 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 19 at Lancaster Bible College’s Good Shepherd Chapel, is specifically designed to answer questions about society, culture and leadership, with a focus on how cultural trends can be strategically impacted with the truths of God’s Word. For more information on the conference or to register, visitwww.UTurnConference.org.

Headlining “U-Turn: A Roadmap for Renewal—A Conversation with Pastors on Society, Culture and Leadership” are social science researcher George Barna, founder of the Barna Research Group, and historian David Barton of WallBuilders. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who recently left his Fox News television program for a possible run at the U.S. Presidency in 2016, has recorded a special video message to be shown at the event.

“We are thrilled and honored to welcome these faithful servants to the ‘U-Turn’ conference next week,” said PPN President Sam Rohrer, who is also President of the American Pastors Network (APN, www.AmericanPastorsNetwork.net). “Their commitment to speaking truth is rooted in a passionate desire to truly change the culture for God’s glory and further His kingdom.”

Other confirmed speakers for PPN’s “U-Turn” conference include:

  • Pastor, pilot and author Steve Scheibner
  • Gary Dull of the American Pastors Network
  • Sandy Rios of American Family Association and American Family Radio
  • Sammy Tippit of Sammy Tippit Ministries
  • Pastor Joseph Green, founder of Antioch Assembly
  • Jeff Mateer of the Liberty Institute
  • Former NFL star and Oklahoma pastor Paul Blair, President of Reclaiming America for Christ
  • Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries, who will speak on PPN’s Ministers Together project, an initiative which brings together pastors and elected officials on a biblical rather than political basis

The daylong conference will be divided into three parts: I. Why Should We Stand in the Gap for Truth? (featuring Blair, Barton and Barna); II. How Should We Stand in the Gap for Truth? (with Drollinger, Mateer, Green, Rios, Huckabee via video and others); and III. When Should We Stand in the Gap for Truth? (featuring Tippit and Scheibner).

PPN recently announced that those in attendance can obtain Continuing Education Unit credit through a partnership with Lancaster Bible College. Attendees can register the morning of the conference for one CEU credit for the low cost of $10 (in addition to the ticket price).

Additionally, Barna and Barton’s new book, “U-Turn: Restoring America to the Strength of its Roots,” will be available for purchase at the event at a 20% discount.
