The Pennsylvania Pastors Network Two-Day Bus Tour on Oct. 4-5 Will Rally Pastors and Believers to Vote Biblically, Preserve American Values and Keep U.S. Safe

Ten days ago, America was on edge yet again after a pair of bombings in New York and New Jersey. According to CNN, the suspect, Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, was captured a week ago after a frantic manhunt and shootout.

Rahami was charged with five counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, as well as other charges. The terror suspect’s own father told the New York Times that his son was interested in terror organizations and fascinated by jihadist music, poetry and videos.

The American Pastors Network (APN, www.AmericanPastorsNetwork.net) pays close attention to headlines like these, especially for its daily radio program “Stand in the Gap Today,” where host and APN President Sam Rohrer recently interviewed one of the world’s leading experts on Islam, IQ al Rassooli.

In a rapid-fire Q&A, Rohrer asked Rassooli to explain some of the tenets of Islam and share information about Islam that may not be widely known. Next month, Rohrer will be on the traveling team of the “Vote Your Values” bus tour across Pennsylvania on Oct. 4 and 5, which will welcome pastors to free breakfast and lunch events to talk about pressing election issues, such as national security, the threat of terrorism and more. (To learn more or register for these events, please scroll down)

Rohrer and Rassooli’s Q&A session explored the following:

ROHRER: Is the Islamic ideology primarily a religion, a political system, a legal system?
RASSOOLI: It is a complete way of life encompassing all of the above.

ROHRER: Can Islam in any way be regarded as a religion of peace?
RASSOOLI: First of all, Islam is not a religion, but a cult, the account of Mohammed. Even if it were a religion, there is not an iota of peace in it.

ROHRER: Is there any such thing as a moderate Muslim? We hear it often, and if it is not such a thing, why not?

RASSOOLI: There are no shades in Islam such as moderate, militant, radical or extreme. Islam is beyond extreme.

ROHRER: Then how do you define King of Jordan or secular, as we may call them, Muslims that may not appear to be totally in favor of what the Jihadists are doing? How do we classify them?

RASSOOLI: You can’t. It is, according to the definition of the Europeans, a moderate, but in reality, it doesn’t exist. When the tables are turned, they will turn to Sharia Law. Saddam Hussein was secular, but was he a decent man? He was a mass murderer, and when it suited him, he went to the mosque and prayed. This is only an illusion.

ROHRER: What role does the Muslim Brotherhood play within the Islamic world, and are they part and parcel with the Jihadist Muslims?

RASSOOLI: The Muslim Brotherhood is the driving force behind all Muslims all over the world because it represents the core beliefs of Islam, meaning Muslims against all non-Muslims—currently against 80 percent of humanity. That’s what it is. That is Islam.

ROHRER: We know there are many, many Muslim Brotherhood individuals within our current American government; the CIA leader was a convert to Muslim. They’re in Homeland Security. They accompany and they walk around with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. What does that mean?

RASSOOLI: That’s why America is in trouble. These people cannot ever be loyal citizens. It is impossible. Islam cannot be loyal to a constitution which is man-made. The American Constitution is man-made, not from Allah Sharia. I don’t care how many times they wear a nice tie, they shave their beard and pretend to be Americans. They are not. You don’t have to take my word for it. Wait and see.

ROHRER: In your opinion, can Islam rightly be regarded as a protected religion, under the United States Constitution’s First Amendment? If not, why not?

RASSOOLI: Again, I repeat—this Islam is not a religion, but a violent cult against all humans who are not followers of Mohammed; then this question is irrelevant under any constitution, not only American.

ROHRER: Then, it is possible that an avowed Muslim can serve with fidelity in any elected public office in American where they swear to uphold the constitution?

RASSOOLI: No, because first of all, they swear on the Quran. The loyalty of every single Muslim is only to Islam and to other Muslims because non-Muslims, such as you, myself and 80 percent of humanity are called kafir, who should either submit to Sharia or be exterminated.

ROHRER: What are the strategic steps that are used by Islamists when they seek to take over a nation and where are we here in America? For instance, they come in, they infiltrate, but then there’s a process. Give us that process. Spell out precisely what they do as a takeover strategy for a country.

RASSOOLI: It’s called stealth jihad. They pretend to belong, while forcing Sharia to infiltrate the laws of non-Muslims. That’s exactly what they’ve been doing. This is called stealth jihad. They’re not shouting and screaming. They pretend to be part and parcel of the American dream, but they are literally putting through Sharia. They want halal meat to be enforced in the schools. They want pig meat to be irradiated from school curriculum and food. Why? This is called stealth jihad. That’s exactly what they’re doing—infiltration.

ROHRER: Can a Muslim ever be trusted to tell the truth? Why or why not?

RASSOOLI: Never, because they are sanctioned by their god a lot to deceive non-Muslims at all times. It’s called Taqiyya. It’s in the Quran. It allows the Muslim to deceive non-Muslims by pretending they are part and parcel or they belong, but in fact, they don’t.

To talk about critical headlines with pastors, APN and the Pennsylvania Pastors Network (PPN, www.papastors.net) is teaming up with Vision America Action for the “Vote Your Values Christian Awakening Tour” across Pennsylvania on Oct. 3-5. Heading up the traveling team are Rohrer, E. W. Jackson and Rick Scarborough—some of the nation’s top leaders when it comes to American and biblical values.

Pennsylvania is a key state in this historic presidential election, and the tour will make two stops to meet with pastors and assistant pastors, along with their wives, as voters prepare to head to the polls on Nov. 8. The two stops include:

  • Oct. 4—Breakfast—8 to 10 a.m., Holiday Inn Williamsport, 100 Pine St., Williamsport (Register here)
  • Oct. 5—Breakfast—8 to 10 a.m., Best Western Premier Eden Resort & Suites, 222 Eden Road, Lancaster (Register here)

At the events, Rohrer, Vision America Action President Dr. Rick Scarborough and Bishop E. W. Jackson, founder of the S.T.A.N.D. (Staying True to America’s National Destiny) ministry, will speak to those in attendance about the Christian duty to vote, how to vote with biblical values in mind and ways to remind their congregations to register to vote before the Oct. 11 deadline in Pennsylvania. The events, with meals included, are free for pastors and their wives to attend, but registration is required.

Sam Rohrer is a former businessman served as a Pennsylvania legislator for nearly 20 years. From 1992 to 2010, he was a State Representative from Berks County, during which time, his outspoken support of constitutional principles hallmarked his public service, as he distinguished himself in areas including economics, taxes, budget policies and education.

Rohrer also leads APN’s daily radio program, “Stand in the Gap Today,” as well as “Stand in the Gap Minute” and Stand in the Gap Weekend.” These broadcasts help pastors speak truth into matters such as family, the church and civil government. “Stand in the Gap Today” airs on nearly 50 stations nationwide at noon ET.

Rick Scarborough served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Pearland, Texas, from 1990 to 2002. During his 12-year ministry there, the church baptized more than 2,000 people and relocated to a new 27-acre campus.

Before his time at FBC Pearland, Scarborough was a full-time evangelist, preaching more than 500 revival crusades across America. He has also preached missionary crusades in Panama, Brazil and India. As a member of the Board of Trustees for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention from 1992 to 2000, Scarborough traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Bishop E. W. Jackson Sr. is author of the book, “Ten Commandments to an Extraordinary Life—Making Your Dreams Come True” and founder of Exodus Faith Ministries, a nondenominational ministry in Chesapeake, Va., with a satellite church in Boston, Mass.

On July 4, 2009, Jackson launched S.T.A.N.D. (Staying True to America’s National Destiny), a national grassroots organization dedicated to restoring America’s Judeo-Christian history, faith and values and preserving its Christian culture. Its signature project is establishing January as “American History Month,” a time to celebrate the nobility of our nation’s founding and history.

During the tour, APN will also encourage pastors to come alongside the new “We Will Stand” initiative to help mobilize and encourage pastors to preach biblical truth about all issues, as well as unite pastors in their calling to stand boldly for truth. All along the tour and online, pastors can sign the “We Will Stand” pledge and commit to preach passionately, pray fervently, encourage their congregations and engage as a minister together with civic leaders.

  1. I see that these leaders are coming to my hometown of Williamsport & would like to know how I can help to get the word out to pastors & if they need any volunteers to help with the event.

    Thank you;
    Laura Kirkland

  2. The Biblical issues seem pretty clear. One Presidential candidate is more faithful to the second, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th commandment than the other. (They seem to be about equal on the others.) One candidate has a clear record of not heeding the warning of Matthew 6:24. One candidate has not, as recommended in the first book of Acts, asked to be forgiven. One shows some manifestations of the fruits of the spirit: especially self-control and gentleness, and one does not. One acts justly, loves mercy and walks (more) humbly than the other. I’m assuming that’s the Biblical truth y’all are going to be taking about, right?
